Point Stuart Eco Sightseeing Cruise

For those travellers wanting a good look at the Top End but are tight for time then our 3 Day Litchfield / Kakadu Adventure will give you a good dose of the best that Kakadu and Litchfield have to offer.

Our first day is spent exploring Litchfield National Park which is where many of the local Darwin residents chose to visit with its rainforest walks, swimming in wondrous waterholes, spectacular waterfalls cascading off the Tabletop Range and those weird termite mounds dotting the landscape that we'll find out about.

Our next two days are devoted to exploring the world famous Kakadu National Park. Be prepared to view some of the best indigenous rock art in the world at Ubirr Rock and Nourlangie Rock. We visit Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls, go on a private Crocodile and Wildlife Cruise, plenty of swimming in divine waterholes and some great hiking.

Small groups and away from the crowds
Our Kakadu tours are all genuine small group adventures in 4-wheel drive vehicles that can take us away from the crowds as much as possible so you can enjoy the tranquillity and grandeur of one of Australia's most popular regions.

Day 1 - Litchfield National Park & Mary River
Our first stop is picturesque Florence Falls. Here there's a short walk through monsoon rainforest into the falls, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim. Swim in the crystal clear rock pools of Buley Rock holes before a short drive to the famous Wangi Falls. Enjoy the view from the lookout at Tolmer Falls and watch the waterfall cascading from a narrow gorge into the huge plunge pool below. We leave Litchfield and travel west into Woolna Country and receive a Cul Cul or unique 'Welcome to Country' by the traditional owners of the land, the Limilngan - Wulna people. Experience the local Aboriginal culture including cooking bush tucker, playing the didgeridoo, basket weaving and spear throwing. To finish the day we head to the spectacular Mary River Wetlands, where birds aren't the only wildlife abundant; keep a watch for lurking crocodiles on our private river cruise! A secluded campsite in the Mary River region is where we'll stay tonight. (LD)
• Camp: Corroboree campground (Toilets/Showers available) - Campsites are a mixture of bush camps and semi permanent campsites (swags/ pop up tents) in the dry season and permanent camps in the Green season.

Day 2 - Mary River to Kakadu
Discover ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr and clamber to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views over the Nardab floodplain. Next it's on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park. (BLD)
• Camp:Permanent camp within Kakadu National Par (Toilets/Showers available) - Campsites are a mixture of bush camps and semi permanent campsites (swags/ pop up tents) in the dry season and permanent camps in the Green season.

Day 3 - Kakadu to Darwin
Today we 4WD toward Twin Falls where you will get to enjoy an informative boat cruise with an Aboriginal guide up Twin Falls Gorge. Our 4WDing continues through creeks and sand on our way to mighty Jim Jim Falls where a swim in the plunge pool at the base of the falls is sure to refresh the senses. (BL)
Return to Darwin in the early evening.
