4WD   © 4WD Mitsubishi or Isuzu- 16 seats front facing air-conditioned vehicle. Our 4WD’s (16 - 20 seaters) have spacious cabs with ample legroom and forward facing seats for increased comfort and a view for appreciation of the scenery.
Suitability:
Level 2 fitness   © Maximum Walks: Hikes up to 6-8kms per day. A reasonable level of fitness is required as there will be some walking to view places of interest. Suitable for soft adventures with a passion for bushwalking and exploring the wonders of Kakadu and Litchfield National parks.

Permanent Campsites - have permanently erected tents (multi-share), permanent cooking facilities and purpose-built fire pits, screened eating areas, share showers and toilets. Evening meals are BBQ style dinners, prepared by the guide (with passenger participation) and eaten as a group. Breakfasts are continental and lunches are picnic style.

DRY SEASON PROGRAM (June-November)
Dry Season:
(From May/June to November - depending on seasonal conditions and park access)

Day 1 - Darwin to Mary River

A refreshing start to your day checking out the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. Travel west into Woolna Country and receive a Cul Cul or unique 'Welcome to Country' by the traditional owners of the land, the Limilngan - Wulna people. Experience the local Aboriginal culture including cooking bush tucker, playing the didgeridoo, basket weaving and spear throwing. To finish the day we head to the spectacular Mary River Wetlands, where birds aren't the only wildlife abundant; keep a watch for lurking crocodiles on our private river cruise! A secluded campsite at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is where we'll stay tonight. (LD)

Day 2 - Mary River to Kakadu

Discover ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr and clamber to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views over the Nardab floodplain. Next it's on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park. (BLD)

Day 3 - Kakadu to Darwin

Get ready for some 4WD action today on our way to Jim Jim Falls! Once we get there, we'll hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin Falls. Feel the beauty of the stunning gorge and powerful falls from the National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience. The impressive scenery will continue to amaze you as we journey back to Darwin in the afternoon. (BL)

Child Policy:

Children 7 years and under are not recommended to travel on any tour.
• Individual requests may be considered on a case by case basis by operator.

• Children aged 8-12 years receive a discount on most tours.
• Children 13 years or older pay full adult fare.

• Itineraries may vary and/or attractions be substituted for any cause including seasonal conditions, weather extremes, Traditional Owner and national park requirements. Itinerary will vary according to the open and closure of falls which can not be predetermined. Please see terms and conditions of travel for full details.

• National Park fees of AUD$37.50 are payable on the morning of departure (includes $25 entry into Kakadu NP, and $12.50 Twin Falls boat transfer - seasonal).

• Safaris must be reconfirmed 48 hours prior to departure by phone direct with the tour operator - (Details on your E-Ticket).
• A STRICT luggage limit of 10KG applies. Excess baggage should remain at your Darwin accommodation.
